Your files are never uploaded

Every tool on BabaPDF runs entirely inside your web browser using client-side JavaScript. When you open a PDF or image with a BabaPDF tool, that file is read directly by your browser and processed on your own device. It is never transmitted to, received by, or stored on any server we operate — because for file processing, there isn't one. Close the tab and every trace of your file and its contents is gone from memory.

No accounts, no personal data collection

BabaPDF doesn't ask you to sign up, log in, or provide a name or email address to use any tool. We don't maintain user accounts and have no database of files, filenames, or document contents. There is nothing about you for us to collect, because we never see your files in the first place.

Advertising

BabaPDF currently carries no advertising. No ad network runs on any page, and nothing about your visit is used to target ads to you here or anywhere else. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before any ad appears.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages and tools people visit, roughly where visitors come from (country and referring site), and what device or browser they use. We see this as aggregate reports, not as a record of you. Google Analytics runs on the page, not inside the tools, and never receives the contents of any file you process. Your files still never leave your device.

Outside the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell a returning visitor from a new one. For visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics cookies are off by default: Google receives only cookieless, aggregate signals. BabaPDF sets no other cookies, and no advertising cookies are set anywhere.

Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can block it with any content blocker, or opt out with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout); every tool keeps working either way. In your browser's Network tab, these show up as small requests to googletagmanager.com and google-analytics.com, and none of them carries any part of your file.

Children's privacy

BabaPDF is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the site requires no account and no personal data to function, this is largely a non-issue by design.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. We won't change the core promise — your files are processed locally and never uploaded.
